So my FXAAAaaaarrrhhhh.... has been steadily declining. She gets around 20-23km/L and I'm told you can get around 30km/L out of them usually. A week ago she suddenly lost most power and we figured it was a carby issue. The carby was clean so we checked the CDI. Someone else on here had similar problems and turns out they had a cracked diaphragm. Off came the airbox, engine revved and the slide didin't budge.
So the diaphragm had a hideously large crack in it, and I have been informed that a second-hand carby would cost less than buying a diaphragm new.
Anyone have one lying around I could purchase? My bike is my main commuter and I can't borrow my boyfriend's brother's hornet forever.
