    Tidy 955 Speed Triple

A very tidy and low kilometre Speed Triple. These bikes are awesome fun to ride with a big rush of triple power whenever you want, great handling and brilliant braking. And there is no engine outside of a Spitfire that sounds like an angry triple on full noise.

The upright riding position means it will suit people who would otherwise love a sports bike but don't want the riding position, people who like to tour and even commuters - or people who just love riding bikes all the time and want to do all 3. Are you passionate about bikes?

And it's a Triumph which means it's reliable, low maintenance and have a name that speaks volumes - don't follow the crowd, buy a Trumpy.

There is a small amount of damage to the decal on the tank, otherwise it's a minter and has never been abused. It has rego to November and will come with a brand new WOF

I'm selling it on behalf of a mate who has moved to Tauranga and wants to buy a boat (he has other bikes, so I'll forgive him). If not sold by mid May I'll be riding it up to Tauranga (the things one does...), so if you're in the North Island and want a real nice S3, this could be your chance.

He'd also consider swapping for a boat in the area.

A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

I'm pretty sure one of these is going to be my next bike: I had been looking at the 1050's only rather than the 955's, but this is tidy.... and the price seems to be reasonable. and its not like I need the extra ten hp after my 60hp Scrambler...... hmmmmmm

It's a bloody good bike and worth the money. My mate is a pretty meticulous owner and it's been well cared for.

In my experience with them. The 1050 only had better down low. Mid is almost the same as the 955 and the 955 definitely has better peak.
I suppose this is why they kept it in the Daytona and made the sprint ST and Speed Triple the 1050 motor. As they are competing more against BMW and other "twins".
