first thing i did was take off the stickers. i wasnt embarrassed that is was a 250, i just thought it looked nicer plain. then i changed the indicators to smaller slightly tinted ones. then i made a tail tidy. i also made a blanking plate to go around the tail light. a lot of people make tail tidies but leave a big gap around the tail light. i think this looks unfinished. if you do this i still have the pattern i made for it. you just need to copy around it on some aluminum (sp?) and cut it out / file it and paint it black. the only other thing i did was put Perilli Sport Demons on it and an exhaust. the exhaust might only make it louder but they sound fantastic. money well spent. mind you i see biking as a hobby not an investment and expect it to cost money.
i never had any problems with mine but i am very anal when it comes to servicing and looking after bikes.
they are great little bikes and i enjoyed every ride i had on mine.

If I were you they'd take priority over a new exhaust or anything else... a new can is less satisfying when it has scrapes all over it lol.

    Good on you.
Yeah I have that now, I was going throught the Akatarawas on Friday late arvo, looked clear from the Waikanie side but there was rain at the summit. Must have hit Oil or something in a 3rd gear corner and WHAM... I was flying through the air wondering where my bike was. Several seconds of gymnastics later and I find my bike on its side minus indicator, brake lever, wing mirror and foot rest assembly... all strewn across the road. Get the bike on its stand and OH NO! scrached my shiney new muffler.
Out go the Shitkos and hello new tyres.... Those Pirelli's look tempting for that price aye.
Any one want some 3 Month old Shinko's?

    Woody,
Sometimes I get the impression you were a Pitbull Terrier in a previous life.

I have nothing against PBT's myself... Just that you remind me of one at times
That isn't a bad thing, just an observation.

    Anyhow,
Good on neop26 for doing something a little different to his bike.
Who cares what it is.. It is HIS, and he is allowed to do whet ever he likes.

    Carry on guys.
ahaha, well you keyboard heroes need to ACTAULY get off your computors once and awhile, try ACTAULY going to the track then proving yourself, the ultimate test for a bike is the race track.....that is the reason for hyosung getting into the racing scene, to establish themselfs as equal to suzuki, yamaha ect.......and they are, on my GTR250 i set the lap record last weekend.....beating the previous record from a kawasaki,

In the Gatage we have late model japanese bikes {honda suzuki kawasaki} and they nothingnover a Hyosung, so stop your bitching about them. Thats all from me, not trying to be a pitbull but im abit more expirienced on this issue.

And all that work was greatly appreciated thanks 325rocket Meant I could buy the bike without having to make the mods myself, it's still running great, but I'll be flicking it off in another couple of months when I get my full most likely. Hopefully another learner can have as much fun on it as I did.

It's better than the NC30 at a lot of things.

    Eg:

Better than the NC30 at being Korean
    Better at being red
    Better at being slower
    Better at snapping clutch cables

    etc etc etc

    Ummm,
    Are you feeling okay?

I think your fingers are typing cheques your body can't cash there woody.....

To make it fair, I will put out a bunch of tyres around the tarmac in the shape of a track nobody has seen before...
Then we jump on a bike neither of us has ridden... and see who is faster straight off the line....

No need for me to prove anything really..... Considering I am over twice your age, and was racing before you were a twinkle in your dads eye.
Motorcycle racing is 20% bike and 80% Rider......

Oh.. I will still say "hi" next time i have to pick your bike up off the side of the track
