    VTR thou, needs good home

    My baby has to go - no urgency and I'll be sad to see her leave. She's not getting the use she deserves and I sadly need to sell some toys.

    She has one fault I know of - a scratch in the paint on the tank (in one of the photos)

    1000cc V-twin, torque to burn and pulls like a schoolboy. She is in good condition:
    * heaps of tread on both tires
    * chain and sprockets clean and in good condition
    * new after market Zero Gravity screen (original screen included also)
    * slip on Remus Carbon Fibre cans (no probs getting a WoF)
    * Givi top box luggage and all fittings, spare key - all 100% water proof near new
    * removable pillion seat cover
    * registered till 21/10/2010
    * WoF due 20/8/2010
    * personal, professional suspension setup thrown in for free

    When you've bought it I have arranged for the buyer to have a professional suspension setup done to best suit them - and what a HUGE difference it makes. Shaun Harris (2 times Isle of Man TT winner, NZ and Isle of Man road racing legend and suspension specialist) is waiting to meet you!

    No test pilots, but when you're ready for that big step up to a thou, or if you want a bike you can happily put another 100,000km on - this is your baby. That's why I bought it but sadly my plans changed.

    Nic colour, you sure it's an 02? I thought the mat black was an 04 colour.

    Yup it's an '02 all right.

    I understand tghe black colour was a limited edition of some sort but I'm not 100% sure on that. All I care is that I think it looks good - especially with that screen.

    Yeah, I remember afterI bought my blue one in '03 wishing I could have had the matt black.

    I sold it with ~70,000k on it. The only issue was a blown headlight.

    What are the tyres? (not looking as i've only just brought the gixxa but have'nt seen that tread before)
    Cats land on their feet. Toast lands jamside down.
    A cat glued to some jam toast will hover in quantum indecision

    Curiosity was framed; ignorance killed the cat

    Fix a computer and it'll break tomorrow.
    Teach its owner to fix it and it'll break in some way you've never seen before.
