Does the Pot Scrubber idea work by shoving one of them in? Its only to get the bike vinned. It may not be to loud but id rather not find out the hard way.
Its a full Arrow exhuast with a titanium can on the end on my 600 RR

You will need to quieten it down regularly for WOFs anyway, so I'd buy or get a baffle made for it. Then you can just hiff the baffle in it when you need it.

Thanks for that. I have had a little look on the net and dont seem to be able to find baffles in NZ that dont come with a complete new muffler. Do you know where i can get one from?
+1 for the baffle idea from DB.
A single pot scrubber won't do much either. You'd need to pack several in there quite tightly to get a decent reduction in sound. I've got a 10m hank of SS wool that I'm sticking in my slip-on and it's taking HEAPS of it to get the sounds quieter. Plus, for you to pack the Arrow, won't you have to drill out the rivets, pack, and re-rivet?
Correct and i would rather not drill out the rivets. Prefer to just have the baffle i can just pop in and out. Thanks for the info i will skip the SS wool idea.
I did the pot scrubber thing. Yep works - but you need heaps.
I would go and get the fine ones from M10 and pack it with that. (its the equivalent to #000 sandpaper)
but once again you will need a fair amount to feed down the tube.......and you will need to keep it down there.

ok i have found these ones. Looks like they will work and if not its only $10 lost.
Gee thats cheap. Can't go far wrong with that, unless it doesnt fit at all...

Well i am relying on my calculations which were never that good. But im pretty sure a 1 3/4" insert will fit not to loosley into a 2" pipe. Think its 45mm into a 50mm pipe.
Even if its a bit loose it should do the job.

It's as simple as making the outlet hole smaller, any way you can is fine.
