Grounded airlines face £1.1bn ash cloud loss

Why should a government compensate airlines for groundings? It's not the governments fault... if it rains whilst your building your house, do the builder or the owner get compensated... No they fuckin don't... so where do these guys get off?

Mr Bisignani said: "I am the first one to say that this industry does not want or need bailouts. But this crisis is not the result of running our business badly."

Neither is it yours or the builders fault when it rains...

"It is an extraordinary situation exaggerated with a poor decision-making process by national governments. The airlines could not do business normally. Governments should help carriers recover the cost of this disruption."

Get fucked you filthy bastard... ever heard of saving for a rainy day... no... because you know someone will bail you out... will it ever end
