Any newbies going to Hampton rider training day?

Hey any newbies keen to share a trailer to take bikes down to Hampton on Saturady?
I am still deciding wether to ride down or trailer my bike down. So if any one is keen to share the cost with me send me a pm:-)

Why dont you just ride there? Its a little pain but probably faster then strapping and unstrapping bike to a trailer... unless you have just a track bike of course. (woudlnt recomend riding that down there )

BTW is it Saturday? I thought its 25th (sunday)

Its Saturday if your going to the HMCC training day 24th
Its Sunday if your going to the Hampton downs ride day 25th

I will be there for both in different capacities

I think riding down for Saturday is OK as you shouldn't have a big off on a training day (main reason to trailer assuming your bike is road legal)

I think I've seen a VTR around these parts - if you are the one I'm thinking of I'm just up the road from you.

You are welcome to borrow my trailer / ramp / tiedowns if you want. I'm not using them.

It's an 80 KM journey both ways and if you get a full day on the track you'll be pretty tired at the end.
I've ridden to track days before (including Auckland to Taupo, 6 sessions on the track then back home) and having a trailer makes it way easier.

Send me a PM or shoot me a TXT - 027-442-7256

Wifey and i are riding down on Saturday morning, will be leaving here(Manurewa) at about 7am Scrutibeering/safety check starts at 8am so an early start is a good idea.
We could wait for you guys at the Papakura Autobahn BP on the Southern Motorway just past the Papakura off ramp heading south.
I'd want to have left there by approx 7.30am though.
Yachtie, you know my bike to look out for(Big old, XV, coal burning, Jamjar) but we'd be parked outside the Autobahn anyhow so recognition not a big deal.
Every day above ground is a good day!:
