Ride on Sunday 25th with a newbie

hi guys,

I am looking at going for a ride on sunday leaving from the duck pond at 9am.

I am new to riding and am looking for people to join me as I dont normally go for long rides on my own.

Attached is the route that I am looking at doing "(ok I am abit stuck lol not sure how to add the google map...finally got the map

the trick is you've saved a shortcut to your map and then linked to that local file. easierr to create in google maps and then share it, looks like a pretty nice track though.

Yea i think I am abit stuck and not sure how to add it correct :S

Haha I have been on a proper bike just not too often lol...i have a goal to ride it every day till the end of may right now lol instead of using the car unless i am taking the dog out

Holy shit.. That is a ride! I would attend, But i may be heading on this Wellington free Ambulance ride and Cant afford to get caught without a Rego..

Yea I have a goal to do the 1000k in only petrol stops so eugene and I are going to start praticing but he is away this weekend.

Ahhh fair enough about the rego.

Hi Vanessa,

I am interested - just trying to work out my plans. There is a group of Kapiti riders going north, meeting any rapa riders at woodille, then to Porangahu for lunch, then back again. It sort of covers your route??

Will let you know if I am able, and meeting point etc.

hey sounds Good.

I dont mind changing the route or anything...as long as it is easy to find lol

yea unfortunatly due to prior comments on sunday afternoon i cant do both but Eugene is hoping to be back in time to go to it and I decided to go for the ride early morning instead
