From what I read...he finished 7th? in race one some 50 odd seconds behind the winner? That's nearly a lap down mate. Race 2 he obviously went better. That's great...but hardly walking the walk as you say. Good on him for getting into it, and I hope he goes well. But it's a bit early to be blowing your own trumpet.

err.....dont you mean the 'reporters' statement in the Dom Pete? we all know from our own experiences that journo's write what ever they like most of the time, rather than what was said.

Anyhoo......AWSOME effort Dion and Sloan. The qualifying was great, the racing was impressive.

He crossed the line 2nd in race one Pete. A 20 sec penalty was on him for creeping forward at the start. There's certainly not any trumpet blowing going on. Peace out matey

So the guy doesn't have to live by the rules then? Fuck...he must be good. Here's a fact for you then (seeing as you like them so much),his best lap was what...1.11 or something? Wee way to go yet before being the 'King'. The 'Kings' do 1.06's. I believe the 'Kings' on 600's do 1.08? As I say...good for him. I'm really impressed by how he's going. But bit early for the 'King' tag mate. Fact.

When reporters use "quotes"...they're generally what was said. Don't think I've ever been misquoted by one. But I think you've got it wrong Viki. I'm all for him going well! I hope he gets amongst the big boys in the Nats. The more the merrier.
