Believe it or not...the 883's had pretty much unlimited ground clearance. Way too tall for pops!

That was Rachel wearing my dirty, stinky old set. She added a few new scuff marks to them too.

    did well with those nerves

and good to see you went out & played it safe for the wet practice & Qual, good result for your first time, & at least you did not have a trailer ride off the track .... there was far to many of those

see you out there next month

Gidday, I'm using 86, was really glad it was available as it's my KB name and the bikes an 86 model. All the ducks lined up on this one

And thanks to you and a few others for inspiring me to get out and do it Had a great day, the rain was a bit of a bummer to start with but apart from stuffing up my start position in the first race I felt pretty comfortable. Problem with the lack of time to get in a test day was that I didn't notice how shocking the rear suspension was set up until I started dragging the pipe around all the right handers. That was a bit offputting but thanks to a few knowledgable people we got that 65% sorted by the 2nd race. Magic day!

Yer but the frontal lumps made them look much better than they did with you wearing them all those decades ago.

    Well done!
Noticed your pipe dragging...maybe your suspension isn't flash (iI don't know) but your pipe is very low...would be fine at Taupo tho!
