go talk to Sam from Celtic leathers, he will actually tell you he does not like them at all, As the fact they can cause more potential danger also if you are suspected of a spinal injury you can not be sat on a stretcher dead flat like you shoud be and before you say well cut a hole in the stretcher etc not every ambulance will carry a race bike specific stretcher,

Actually I was just getting general opinion here. I'm of the same opinion as Sam from Celtic. I'll sacrifice a tiny bit of of potential comfort for a flat -no digging in back on my leathers.
