    Winter gloves that are waterproof?

Time to get new gloves for the winter. But there are 100's to choose from. And it all becoming confusing.

Rules: Need to be black and leather. Long ones that go over the leatherjacket.

    What to get? Opinions please.

May the bridges I burn light the way.

Qmoto will shortly have a winter glove range that I'm looking forward to trying on for size.

I have a good pair of spidis...they heve an inner cuff then jacket sleeve the outer gauntlet good although a bugger to get on.

But then when skin is damp, I cannot slide them on as my skin sticks to the glove lining.

With your favorite leather gloves, go to a good snowboard shop and buy a pair of overmitts. Some come with separate index finger. I have a pair of Burton ones - they are the absolute shiz.

I've got some Spidi H2Out gloves that are pretty good, as waterproof gloves go. I can't remember the model, but I think they're "SportComp". Cost $220 a couple of years back. But the bestest thing is you favorite gloves with waterproof overmitts, such as the oilskin ones I used to wear.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

Rain-off overgloves. They work. They are completely waterproof. I've tried most brands of gloves with Goretex or "equivalent" membrane liners. None have been waterproof for long. Two hours in the really wet buggers most. Rain-off overgloves, on the other hand, never leak. And they pack up small enough to fit under the seat on an Aprilia Shiver, if you know what I mean.

    Buy some http://www.rain-off.com/

What he said. Plus, don't discount the warmth factor. They're as good as the webpage makes out in that respect.

I've got some of these, rode home today in the pissing rain, gloves are dry-as. I had three pairs but gave one pair to a mate who now also swears by them. On longer trips (like up the West Coast in the pissing rain) they can bunch up a little in the palm but it's not a major. If you hate wet gloves, buy some Rain-offs. (And they're made in NZ!)
