It's funny, since i've bought the 636 I've never ridden so carefully. I rode the 400 like no tomorrow, would come within a whisker of the governor 8 out of every 10 times I rode it. And that included the 1.2 kilometre trips to the gas station.

Okay, so in terms of outright speed I obliterate the 400s top speed on an almost daily basis, but I pick my moments a little more carefully, and I'm a lot less inclined to take the risks... Nothing to do with it being 4 x as expensive to purchase or fix!! The 636, while not a rocket in sportsbike terms, is still quicker than most things I come across on the road... and since I KNOW I'll win the drag most of the time, I think I subconsciously don't feel the need to prove it.

Besides - if you've got MORE than 250 cubic centimetres throbbing between your legs... you are the man, no arguments

LOL! Very well stated. I used to drag everything and anything before my big ticket... alas now the crazy days are over.

So true that point though - now I think it that way 'I don't need to prove myself' etc. I have never lost a drag (I'm sure if some evo/turbo 4wd skyline/true rice/drag whatever etc came along I would though) and I think its best to keep that 100% record intact by not dragging again

    Arrow I got a RD250LC

For the sole reason for giving it heaps when I'm in a foul mood. Did this just to look after my Honda
