Hey all seems I have to give up my beloved toys amongst other things, so the first on the rank is the old beast.
1981 XS1100, reg'd as a XZ1100, extremely rare model....hahaha more like a typicult clerical error but hell you could own the only one.
She's stripped back a bit cut here and there and certainly does not look like her original self.
Previous owners had put a wiseco high comp kit in. Have all old original internals and bits an bobs.
Was ridden daily till parked up 18 months ago, pulled better than a schoolboy readin a Mayfair.
However she's been a little neglected on my behalf. (Will blame the new gal on that lol).
Have had her runnin around a year ago and think she down a little on inner cyls so might just need a little look at there.
Nice 4-1 gives it a really good sound.
Has near new tyres hardly even run in. Needs a battery though.
Inlet boots are original so ideally need to be replaced or quick fix recover. Carbs would need to be cleaned over too.
Has a few after-market and Frankensteined parts, some from previous owner some by me to replace some bits.
Have not put a price in as would like offers/tenders as these bikes are getting hard to come by and would have like to seen this back on the road in original condition.
Not to be for me now but someone else might appreciate the beauty in these bikes.
It does have live plates, they are on hold at moment also note the k's are not a good representative of how much this bike has travelled, according to records it has had two decreases in the speedo readings tho I could expect that after a rebuild.
