Choke lever stuck on my VL250

Yep, dunno how this has happened but the choke lever on my VL250 is stuck in the closed position. Cant friggin' shift it for buggery. Dont want to force the bastard though.

It does need a touch of choke on cold mornings and they are getting colder so if anyone of you fine people can throw an idea or two at me, that would be mint.

    Cheers
