    Lifan scooters-any experience with them ?

    ok, ive just bought a 50 cc lifan 4 stroke,
    ( yep, i know its chinese, but one of the better brands from there ) and it has 2500 k on the clock, and goes ok for what it is, has anyone had one of these ?, if so did you you get an ok run ?
    we are all nuts we just dont know it !!

    yep, lol, its just a toy, but still curious, rather ride my bandit, more fun

    Lifan scooter aye? ah well.....


    Parts are cheap for the engines, cheaper for the peripheral parts and dirt cheap for maintenance parts.
    Go slightly faster parts are on trademe by the bucket load (digger version of "bucket" not the bike racing version)
    The part you should check the most is the frame, look for any cracks in the welds and the frame pipes they have been known to let go. (cheap shyt steel)

    Yep,definitely check the frame!!

    I had my frame checked out by a mechanic,even though it was new,I didn't feel safe riding it until I knew the frame wasn't going to crack while on the move.
