Ok... So Vicki works in a bunch of supermarkets and we are well used to the cars getting the living shite kicked outta them on a daily basis. Doors, tolleys and the usual dumb thoughtless stuff the average moron does every day.

BUT..... Some arsehole in a blue vehicle with yellow undercoat has really given the poor old Magna a major thump...

Dirty great smash in the side that wrote off the rear of the front guard and the leading edge of the drivers door, ripped off the trim, indicator repeater just gone... This is a huge hit and there is no way you could not have noticed it happen. The impact site is 400mm X 400mm and seriously deformed one of the stongest parts of a pretty solid car. It looks like some moron has swung into the car park next to us (impact appears rear to front).

Note on the car? Nope....

Witness in Kapiti Pak N Save car park? Nope?

Video of the car park? "Took that out as it cost too much but those smashes happen every day"

Excess on our policy $300 and loss on no claims bonus...

Thanks Biff but...

Talked to the supermarket dude today in the hope someone saw something...

He just sighed (sees it almost daily) and told us to remember that there are a shite load of people coming in pissed all day to pick up another cask of wine (often kids in tow) or in uninsured cars, un rego'd cars, 'borrowed' cars etc etc. Most of them just don't care... (has life got that hopeless?)

In the supermarket trade they get pretty jaded and un shocked at human behaviour... And I'd have to say, having help Vicki more than once I can understand how that is... Gotta say though, I'm a bit gutted...

I've had what I assume to be a 4wd somehow back over it at speed at woolies and run up on to the bonnet set off the alarm and drive away (c**t). Every door is dinged... Even the boot. There is no unmolested panel, I think some cocks take pleasure in it, secretly humping the panels until they buckle.

Sad.. But Kapiti is the land of the dent magnet and panel humper.

That's why I like bikers... Park too close, just move the mirror carefully out of the way and carry on, move the mirror back... we are all cowboys/girls... You don't touch anothers horse if you can help it.
