That's not very good news, how did you get home.(My bike won't even start if I don't pull the clutch in, let alone changing gears).

Started in gear and rode off, lucky stopped at a mates down the road who was home and trailered bike home.

loosen the clamp that holds the clutch lever/switch to the bars,and have it tight enough to stay put but loose enough to turn with a "hit"
