Oh to be out riding...... Took the bikes to Nelson over the weekend - I made it to Havelock, when a fuel spill washed the front out from underneath me. Bike and I parted company and I ended up riding bitch for the rest of the weekend. Not very happy. Bike will be off the road for a week or two.

That would have been us on Friday! Started out good. Am sort of pleased it was me, rather than Mr B, as his neck is still healing and didn't need another jolt. That being said, it was by the skin of his teeth that he didn't drop his bike as well - ended up in the grass - great save from him. Yet again, all the gear, all the time saved me from more serious injury.

so wot damage did the kawa sustain? and you could always give Mr Berg (sorry if your reading this) a slight concussion to prolong his rehab a bit longer and steal his ZR

Damage to Kawa - bent handle bars, dents & scratches to fuel tank/radiator fairing - hole in the clutch housing (the kicker which stopped me riding).

The bad news for Dave is I need to go to work tomorrow and the only bike rideable is his..... bugger (for him).
