OMG just spent 3 hours reading this whole thread. Havnt laughed so much in a long time. Loved it so much i just had to finally register and make my first post. On the subject of girls on bikes, personally i agree with most of the previous posts. Its great to see, even hot, i mean chicks in leather! who could resist?

On the subject of how fast they ride, well im no slow poke and ive passed some fast bikes on the track, but im not ashamed to say that people like rossi girl would leave me eating dust on the track. Its really down to the individual person, ive seen guys that ride so slow cars over-take them!
And lastly i have to say that rude remarks aren`t just reserved for the ladies, ive had plenty of comments in my time on bikes. I think some guys feel threatened by people who ride bikes, come to think of it, ive even been threatened by a guy on a bike, just because i zinged past his harley on a two stroke doesnt really require being chased down just so he can show me how big his fist is. Fact is some people are jerks and best thing to do is ignore them and continue doing what you like to do.

I can't be the only one but I know a similar proportion of women who ride as don't as I do men who ride and don't.

That is to say the ratio is the same as you would expect based on the available data pool.
Don't worry I got a bit lost there too but suffice it to say women who ride are no longer as scarce as they once were.

I'm a new rider... couple of months and i gotta say I've had nothing but encouragement from every guy I've spoken to. Even more so since i had a mishap and wrote my bike off, and still keen to get right back on another!
