    Any jobs going in Wellington?

    Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone knew of any jobs going in Central Wellington or Kapiti Coast. With so many applicants for all the jobs on trademe/seek, I think it is going to come down to who you know and what you know (not like the good old days when it was one or the other). If you know of anything, please let me know and I will PM you my life story.
    Cheers,
    Matt

Relax. There are lots of jobs going in Wellington.

If you're competent, qualified and motivated you may land one.

Hopefully your intellect and job seeking skills are better than suggested in your OP.

they are. This was just a quick feeler to see if anyone knew of anything within their own company or someone they knows company. I was gonna go into much more detail and less formal language in the PM where I can customise it to suit the industry.

Hard to offer suggestions with no history whatsoever.

You want in flipping burgers, or Head of IT for a government dept?

MAF needs a new Director General, or will do soon. Is that the sort of thing you had in mind?

fair point guiys. Anything really, preferably above minimum wage, and a job that you get to think abit. I've attached my c.v, but its mainly my experiences at college (which I haven't included in my c.v., I normally make reference to them in a cover letter) which showcases more than flipping burgers. Alot of committees, organising etc etc

Why don't you go to Uni or a polytech to get some direction, and postpone searching for a job.

You need to see an advisor before you start throwing hard work and money away.
Plus that is what work (jobs) are like in the real world.

And you might want to make sure any job you go for knows your not planning to stay in the long-term. I just got a job at dominos while i sorted myself out after i quit uni, cos it was a cruisy, easy job
