Mrs Nanna's bike is for sale - Balius $1800 North Shore

Jacinda's bike is for sale, just not getting ridden and not likely to (check out the carjam ODO history to see what I mean).

Servicing done when I bought the bike in Dec 2007 (approx 2000kms ago)
    Rear tyre
    Rear pads replaced,
carbs cleaned and synced (Tripple Z dyno)
spark plugs, plug caps and leads replaced,
    radiator flushed,
    Oil + filter change,
    Brake fluid changed,
    Inline fuel filter added.

    Warrant of Fitness (WOF)
The WOF expires in 4 months (17th August 2010). Last inspection was successful on 17th February 2010.
Licence expiry: 2010, September 28th (expires in 5 months)
Latest licence issued on: 2010, March 21st at 09:01

Bike's physical condition is in line with its price, but if you'd like a project I'll also include the candy red paint that I bought to have a crack at painting, another $200 on top of that will also get the gravity fed spray gun and water trap that I bought (though you're probably better to send teh stuff to Crazefox - it'll come back mint as).

Inspections and test rides welcomed, bike is on the North Shore. Must be licensed (learner plate is fitted). Call me on 0211 904 281

These are a great learner bike, they are basically the naked version of the ZXR250, with the same inline 4 motor.

I have to say it, if you intend to take this bike for a test ride it is worth just checking to see how much gas it has in it, it seems to have a habit of running out

What sort of quality are the water trap and gun mate? I may be keen to have a look.

For the record Qkkid was in my bed, not the other way round

So what exactly is wrong with it? Just rough/scratched paint?
    Any other problems at all?

Could be quite keen to take a look.

Also, I understand that the engines on these are restricted (as opposed to the ZXR which isn't), do you know if this one has been de-restricted?

*sniff* My first bike (literally my first bike).
These engines are not restricted, they're just in a different state of tune. More midrange than the ZXR.
    It'll do 175km/h though

Hmm, if it's mechanically sound I'd be keen to take it off your hands.

Sorry guys, it was gone within 1hr of putting the thread up. Banked the cheque yesterday - being the good bastard that I am - I gave the new owner a 2 week money back garantee.

If you're intersetted in my R1 though we could talk about a deal

Yeah this is now my bike, I bought it as a daily commuter but the revvy nature of it makes it slightly annoying in the stop start traffic and slow filtering. I'm thinking a single thumper might have been better so could be tempted to sell to you Vinz0r...

However when giving it some revs, it goes like a cut snake!

Oooooo really? Definitely let me know if you do. Name is Vin, phone number is 02102200327 and I am in Hamilton.
Is there anything wrong with it mechanically? or will anything need replacing soon?
