The ideal bourbon to coke ratio is 1:0. Coke is an absolutely abominable substance, and should never be used as a mixer.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

I reckon. You can't make a good shandy with coke either.

    Slapper? That's a bit harsh.

Anyways....what would you know about bourbon? You can't even spell it.

Oooh...it matters, all right. Jack/Jim...big difference.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

I write most of my best stuff when I'm drinking. Then I have to go back to it the next morning and make sure it all makes sense, it usually does though.

Why would you ruin good bourbon by adding coke!
If it doesn't taste like petrol you've added too much coke.

Start with a tall glass at a palatable mix ratio. Refresh the glass every time it reaches the half empty/full mark. THe drink ratio will automatically adjust until sufficient inebriation is achieved.

Also - If you use a squirty top drink bottle the valuable mix will be saved when you stagger and fall

The Mrs has just switched to L&P with her bourbon instead of coke, it is as you say an abominable substance. She has also recently acquired a nip pourer for her bottle so the ratio doesn't increase to around 80/20 by the end of the night.

Our usual theory with bike rallies has been previously stated, take the booze and buy the mixer there, costs money but you don't need to find room for it.
Riding cheap crappy old bikes badly since 1987

That's interesting. Common sense says I know why it would be no BYO. However, the ticket doesn't say that.

Do they rummage through your bags or something?

At the rally buy a 440 can of Woodstock.

Then just keep topping it up with the bourbon ya sneaked in.

When it's a tad warm finish it off and start again.

Nah mate, be all good so long as ya don't make it obvious like necks of bourbon bottles sticking out ya jacket lol, (or melting ice)
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !
