It's just dawned on me what happened and why the scooter did what he did. The scooter was following me rather close for some time, I braked quite hard at the intersection to give way. Scooters don't brake as well as bikes and he dived down on the right hand side of me to avoid rear ending me. Because his braking looked rather loaded and on the limit as he came to a flustered stop on the right-hand side of me.

I would like for someone to argue with me about the fact bikes can out brake scooters, this would be most entertaining.

(not the dating "take me out" the attempted murder "take me out")
Dare say if I was sensible I wouldn't filter but a couple things do keep me out of trouble most of the time.
    a) I get off the lights when they change and not 2 seconds later like most cage drivers and
    b) I'm not slow about it. Having decent acceleration helps.

That being said on the occasion I have been (ahem) 'looking' and missed the lights by a second or two things sometimes get interesting. And the occasional car will tailgate me/pull up next to me no matter what I do because they didn't spend 50k+ on a car just to have a ratty two wheeler like mine have all the fun.

Who rides the blue scooter on the NW motorway?
The guy doesn't hang around and filters at a fairly supersonic speed.

    Quite a giggle.

Certainly does, maybe he doesn't have the testes to go down the street to discuss it with the involved

This is more skill based than the machine, but nice try trying to dig your way out of your hole of self pity and inability

The if he or she should have known where their braking points are for their machine, before following a bike with different braking points. I don't understand how you can add self pity or inability into this discussion.

You're not even on a proper motorcycle, just a learners toy. How would you know what a motorcycle brakes like ?

Easy question to answer...... because our balls are so big we need somewhere to store them!

So when does a motorcycle become a proper motorcycle? Some would say a scooter would be a proper motorcycle.
