    Wiring for a Loncin

So it seems I have cocked up my wiring after trying to make the connections better by changing them over into a new wiring block.

Anyone out there got a wiring diagram? I've got one of these http://newmanz.co.nz/shop/index.php?...roducts_id=208 too, but without the plastic sockets as that is what was broken.

    Oh...so simple
Take it to work with you today and I'll give you a call at lunch time and write down the colour pairings. Had it running sweet the night before last too, but I had to tinker more didn't I!! I'm still planning on Sat morning.

I sorry, I can't remember who was looking for a Chinese CDI wiring diagram so have posted it here. I expect the pin-out is much the same for all of them.

The diagrams didn't help unfortunitly. All I really need to know is where the 5 wires need to go to from the cdi unit.

I have 2 greens, a red, a blue, a black and a yellow. Pretty sure one of the greens isn't used, if that helps?

Both greens are earthed, red to HV generator coil on the stator, blue to trigger pickup, black to kill switch, yellow to ignition coil.

    THANKS!

    Good news and bad news...
GOOD NEWS, I had all the wiring right
    Bad NEWS, Still no spark??

I dug out the standard cdi unit and will try it out to rule out the racing cdi unit as the problem. I'll also go through and quadruple check and joins in the wiring.
I've re-wound the header coil wire into the spark plug cap, so that connection is fine. Earth connection is fine...What else??

This seems strange since it was going after your initial carb clean and wiring fix.
Have you tried the kill switch in both directions?
Have you tried a different spark plug?
