See the thing is that I wouldn't choose to park in an inconsiderate manner in the first place and IF I decided to risk the wrath of another by parking like a complete arse...I don't feel I'd be very qualified to howl in outrage about it.

    Haha fair point.

What do motorbike riders have against scooter riders?

I have seen a shitload of negative comments like, throw it in the bin, what a POS etc....

and thats exactly why i park as close to the way out as i can without being in the way of passing traffic. i try to never park with my tyre against the kerb unless its a parallel park where its near impossible to be blocked in.

edit: i also park nose out. learned through experience that backing up an incline is bloody tricky, even without traffic swishing past.

In a bikeless phase of my life I owned a scooter (until I lent it to a young moron student who didn't know what a lock was and it got stolen from Uni)
It was a big bag of fun.
Because I am a grown up I didnt try to race bikes, parked consideratly and generally behaved like an adult while thrashing the arse off it everywhere.

Point is, if you don't give offense, likely you won'y be offended.

The thread is just a bit of a laugh... bikes, scoots, cars and couriers all blocking someone somewhere, thanks to KB I'll know what to do,
    kick it
    stick to it
    move it
    lock it
    bin it
    burn it
and after that if I don't get stage-fright from the crowd watching, piss on it

I didnt mean to damage it, and when I realised that what I was doing wasnt good for the scooter I immediately stopped and tried to find another way to move it without damaging it.. And I was parallel parked and he parked right behind me so there were bikes either side of me, a big drop in front of me and a scooter behind me.

I dont have anything against scooters or their riders generally, its just when they do stupid things. I would feel the same about anone who blocked me in.
