Honda already have a prefectly good 250 platform with the VTR250 - all they need to do is put a proper fairing on it - even a bikini fairing would do. That would piss all over the Hyosung GT250R and the Kawasaki 250 Ninja.

    Ahaha that's awful!

Who in their right mind would take that over a Hyosung or Ninja?

    - Ugly
    - Heavy (160kg!)
    - Top speed is a blistering 126kph
    - Stupid name
    - 223cc SINGLE puts it in same range as the Scorpio. At least the Scorpio is unassuming.

3.7 0-100 is optimistic at best. It apparently costs approx $31257 new so that gives you an idea of quality.

What a joke. If you're gonna get a brand new learner legal Honda then for the love of god get a CBR125 or VTR250.

Just WTF. Lets all hope this abomination never reaches NZ roads.

I suspect you've all got it wrong about the name. "Hero", AFAIK is the name of the dealer network in India.

You guys just don't get it do ya? In alot of India 126km/h is an insane speed. It's also well in excess of the speed limit here too.

There is a speed limit in NZ? That explains why the cops keep turning their lights on whenever I ride past.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

Hero-Honda is a company part owned by Honda that makes bikes specifically for the south asian market. There are some oddly cool small displacement bikes they put out and some downright odd ones.

    Also Bollywood marketing is AWESOME.

Didn't you see them advertised in the T20 World Cup. My sons reckoned I should get one for my next bike. Lovely boys.

That is a pretty cool ad... though the front wheel coming up seemed a little ridiculous!
