Heu Dudes and Dudess's, just got back from a night with some old school matdes in surrey, then got on my bike when I got home and went to a pub in a place called Knightwick in Worcestershire. Its on an A road, (A44) and you ride through some wickledly green beautiful rambling hilly countryside to get to it and its about 30 mins from my pad, so ideal place.
Its a 16th Century place which has been very sympathically restored, when I win the lotto going to buy a place like this!
Had a sit in the warm and cozy evening sun, and the pub was pretty packed, everyone bought their dog out for the day and the dogs looked shagged as its been so hot here today 27 degs, that the pooches were worn out.
A fantastic place with a mates I used to knock about with when I was 19 years old!!! dug him up when I got back.......and found out Colin is now a biker......woohoo, so got a fab friend in him......
Nicely fed and snug in my flat now, so going to have a glass of red wine (as its good for the heart!!!) and then lie on top of the bed as its so hot tonight.......One thing about the english summers, boy it stays hot all night......NZ tends to be chilly in the evening, so nice having it warm all the night through too.......
The UK is supposed to have a long hot summer stretching through to September.....yippeeee
after that shyte cold winter I open my arms to it....bring it on
