What a good day indeed! See - good things take time?

Very happy to hear this news ed - no op! Now that's worth celebrating.
Thanks Sweetypie! Yup! Seeing the x-ray and that wee vertebrae all stuck back together was the best picture I could have looked at! LOVE being out of the brace!

And yes, I'm still lapping up the attention, at least for the next four weeks anyway...

    Woohoo!!!!

Hey, I can wear my skinny jeans! Reached my goal weight of 87kg, now just gotta transform flab to muscle and tone up! I start at the pool today, just walking at first but it's a start!

Still very sore without the support if the brace, but painkillers are good...Click image for larger version.

    Awesome news, Mr Slim!
Take it easy in the pool too...water has lots of resistance. And mind you don't wear yourself out!
Diarrhoea is hereditary - it runs in your jeans

If my nose was running money, I'd blow it all on you...

Yep! We're going to get a season pass to Waiwera. And my wife will be there to give me mouth to mouth if I drown... (or maybe even if I don't...)

Thanks mate! I'm still not allowed to drive so I'm usually at home. Still being pampered by gorgeous ladies so it's not all bad.

Wonderful news Ed. Your muscles wil have atrophied a bit so will take time to re set themselves. If there is still a big zoom tube hydroslide at Waiwera, can I suggest you stay off it for now?

Got started in the pool at the Leisure Centre this week. Got one of the lovely lifeguards to take a pic. Pretty hard work and you know you're not fit when your exercise is walking up and down the lane and you can't keep up with three little old ladies in their 70's...

    But it's a start!
