LOL!!! Not sure about Jill, she was booked to go to Aus for the weekend and I've said she should still go as I'll be out of it for a few days anyway and she hasn't seen her brothers and their families for ages. It's our nephew's wedding on Sat. She's torn up about it of course, but we'll survive.
Who's goin' first?

Hope he gets a good nights sleep Ed?
Longish proceedure isn't it?
We've spent a couple days working through some issues, and have decided to do a less invasive op going through the back only and not also through the front. Still a major one, but less risky. Result may not be as perfect, but I'm happier as it's still going to do the job with quicker recovery and far less risk. Less pain afterwards, too, which prob won't mean much on Friday and Sat. but should mean less time in hosp. So yes a long and tricky op even so, but better than what I got now.
I did some research, (yeah, I'm one of those pains who has to know everything...), and my respect for the surgeon went up a few more notches! It was scary stuff reading about it even after they'd described it to me. Mr. Don comes highly recommended and I'd got a second opinion from another surgeon who came to the same opinion, so it was good to see both in agreement.
So won't know full extent of what he can do until he gets in there and starts playing around, I kinda hope he'll get very close to doing as well as the full op, but his only concern is the fact that the injury is four months old so can't guarantee how much he can achieve.
