Thanks mate! *reaches for morphine* As long as I keep downing pills I'm doing okay.

I was warned it was going to hurt! Good to be home though!

We've, (Mrs. Bear and me), been working on what to do as my accident and operation means I'm going to be handing Plumbers NZ over, not being able to run it effectively. The business has been growing fast and needs intensive input now to take it to the next level as we relaunch www.plumbers.co.nz which is going to be HUGE! So while convalescing we've been developing a new concept in business, and I'm posting a thread about it in Rant and Rave. Called WebNuts, the new venture aims to capitalise on the contacts and reputation I've built up as a merchant/importer. Check it out! This is the concept stage, to build on my Fire & Light business.

Now that's the Ed we all know and love to pieces! Always seeing the positive side in everythng, willing to give anything a crack, never dwelling on things that many of us would waste a lot of energy worrying about.

Ahhhhh home - it sure is where the heart is isn't it? I know that myself, I simply can't wait to have my own place to be, to go home to, to make mine in many ways. Good to hear you are feeling better there Ed (yes, of course drugs help), and that you are working through your options with your wonderful wife.

Always so lovely to read your updates - puts such a positive spin on things in every day life. You rock Mr Bear!

Katiepie you're a ray of sunshine every time you post! Yup! There is really no place like home!

WebNuts has given me an enthusiasm for getting back into business again. I was a bit down about PLumbers NZ, knowing I couldn't do it justice, so Rudy and I got together and agreed he should take it over as part of his restructuring - he and Jenni have gone into a partnership with another plumbing company and the new partners will take over the plumbing team - freeing Rudy and Jenni up to develop Plumbers NZ Ltd. and YHP, the web design business which is Rudy's passion.

WebNuts is something Jill and I can develop as I recuperate, not requiring a lot of hours and has grown out of Fire & Light which is starting to percolate nicely.

We're all nuts anyways, eh? Try my thread "Introducing" in Rant and Rave.

Went to the Doc this arvo to get my dressings changed and came away with anti-biotics for infection as the wound was a bit weepy. Took, (well, got Jill and the nurse to take), a couple of pics.

Yeah, mate, I'm trying to be a good boy... Got plenty of people willing to put me in my place if I misbehave! Guess I'll find out the truth of the statement that "chicks dig scars!" after all.

Thanks, I'll test the theory when the scars heal up a bit and I can take the brace off... At the moment my wife and caregiver kinda think they are a bit gross looking...

    Healing nicely!

Got my caregiver to take a pic this morning. Just a wee small dressing now. Starting to itch a bit which is a good sign, but feels really weird. A combination of sensitivity and numbness.
