Really wish I could just come around and visit when you are in recovery mode, but alas, I just can't make it up there right now. Looking forward to hearing your update and positive words.

    Surgeon is happy with the op, he has a very sore back (to be expected) but the graft site is ok, he can hardly feel it (damn those drugs)

    Went to see Ed today. He was a bit miserable, some meany person had tried to put him in brace and as a result he was feeling a bit sick with the pain, but he had a lovely smile. Might try to get back tomorrow, we did not stay long. Drugs are good, and certainly work quickly, but we did not want to stay and tucker him out, he had others to "entertain", and there is plenty of time to out stay our welcome once he feels a lot better. I know how wonderful it is to see visitors when you are really sick, and how nice it is when they have gone.

    Hells teeth, there is a kilo pack of Roses on his bedsider to eat we have to get back for that alone.
