How do Horsey people pay their ACC?

I blame a lack of milk. I can't remember how many hundreds of times I crapped off, got bitten, stood on, kicked, licked and pushed over by horses, and never broke anything and only made one ACC claim to get an xray after some fat arse stood on my foot, wasn't broken but. Horse riders need to drink more milk.

Same here. Fallen off, been bitten, head butted, kicked, knocked down and trampled. Never had an ACC claim for horses yet.

I guess we're just tough.

my two ponies me so no injuries from them at all, its just the others whose feet I trim or give lessons too

How do Horsey people pay their ACC?

Horsey ACC is covered by your ACC you pay in your PAYE and is classed as a recreational accident. and as I said all along your PAYE cover you for any thing you do as a private citizen... no matter how silly.

Our PAYE ACC also covers all those that do not pay PAYE, including all children that are involved in accidents etc...

I still recokon the best way to cover it all "was to drop all current forms of collecting ACC" and adding to GST... join all the seperate accounts into on big slush fund...(the way it was set up to be) This would cover every one including tourists, elderly workers, young and old, sports players, bikers & road users including cyclists etc..." once in place it would be harder to sell and privatise ACC... as you can not tell who is paying how much for what... but there is more than enough money

however since they goobers in the gooberment have put GST up for the end of the year just because... then it does need a rethink, but I don't believe they really needed to do that unless it was for ACC...

And of corse we all know ACC isn't broke anyway...

WTF... it's not asking them to pay more. It's asking them to pay full stop - they currently don't pay anything.

If the government really wanted horsey people to pay ACC levies; they'd stick a tax onto all feed products. I can't think of a single working horse that's fed just grass.
