Ohlins rear shock for GSXR 600 K1-5

Ohlins rear shock that was built up for me by Hawera M/Cs (Ohlins specialist for NZ) 4 months ago is up for sale. I used it for a total of 5 race meets out on the track and it has never been used on the road at all (other than Paeroa street circuit which was 1 of the 5 race meets). So it'll be in primo condition and I am only selling it as I need cash atm.

I will give out more details when I get home. It'll come with the spec sheet and the ohlins compression adjusting tool.

It is suitable for riders around 66-70Kgs body weight but another spring can be fitted to suit your weight. The shock is for a K1-K3 model however with a minor adjustment by Hawera M/Cs, it'll fit the K4-K5 perfectly at an additional cost of $80 for the part.

    Asking for $890. Cheers!!

    Good luck

Hey I can seriously imagine you on a Motard (I know I will get flak for that) but you would be good on one of them, any cheaper than F2 ??

Na mate, A motard will actually cost more than my current bike to buy. I think 125 GPs is the go for at least the rest of 2005. After '05 I might get back to a later model 600 once I regain financial strength by saving up like mad.

I am just selling the Ohlins then fixing the bike and putting the stock shock in. Once that's done, a cheap track bike will be up for grabs for new commers wanting to get into racing with a good reliable bike or people who just want to do the odd track days.

It's too early to say. I'll see how good I repair it. Back to original condition along with the mint paint job or just a do up job with alloy welds and glassed fairings minus the paintjob.

Definetly keep your eyes peeld though. Tell you what, I'll PM you first when I am ready to sell before putting it out on the market.

That Ohlins should also fit K1 - on Bandits and some other Soozuks too. I almost got one till Robert offered me a new one. He can check compatibility for other models.

    Going, going, gone!

Anyone want this shock for $750 right now?

I need the cash right now for something. Otherwise I guess I'll have to keep the shock or sell slowly for the right price which would be a bit higher than that.

    Cheers!
