Racing events?

hi all, i have a gixxer, wanna go and do some racing . i live in the EBoP so taupo is probably the closet track.
if anyone has any ideas on where how to do this please message me.

i only wanna have some fun and im not into serious competition just want to go fast with out the cops getting involved and have heaps of fun.

hi there another whakatane rider on here. I think there is a track day coming up at the end of this month but im not 100% on this. Look under meetings and events that may help you out.

Theres an open test day at Taupo tomorrow, $80 and go flat out!

There is not a lot of track days at the moment but every second weds is an open test day at Taupo. Only racing thats on is at Manfeild

Sell the 'M' and buy an 1100 'K' then do Posties!

You've got six months to get the bike sorted and ride it at a few track/test days.

Try Hampton Downs also its not that far from you either and a much better track to ride IMO.
Thay also do some pretty decent coaching up there if you are interesetd and very well run, on the negative they are expensive compared to say a day at Taupo, also look at Manfeilds website they have lots of open days on fridays for any one to turn up and use the track $100 for the day normally 20 min sessions.
