I'm don't think this article needs any real description, other than to say that although this is the typical journalist's sob story, I doubt if it's a one off. At least the government is cutting costs, eh?

Yepper. Interesting thing about this though is this is only one small part of the effects these cutbacks are having. I am not so sure that ACC is the correct agency to be helping these people, but at present it is the only one and it has a social obligation to fulfill. Some of the stories around would make your blood run cold. The Auckland Action Group raied funds for Rape Crisis at our last protest ride. They actually suggeted we raise funds for some of the councelling organisations at the coal face of this problem as they are the ones that have to turn these people away from help because they cant get funded by ACC. Absolute shocker!

"To cut costs"... and you wonder why I spout on about removing all financial systems... I am utterly disgusted... the perpetrators of rape should be killed. Plain and simple. This "may" go some way to "helping" the mental state of these victims. Shoving them from pillar to post has to be about the worst thing you can do if they're actually making progress... Society needs a brand new set of rules and a brand new direction... this is NOT achievable under a financial system because THEY WILL ALWAYS NEED TO CUT COSTS... and yet some still make me out to be the nutter...

I used to be vehemently against reintroduction of the death penalty, sadly I now believe that it should be reintroduced for perpetrators of crimes such as these!

I include in the list of "perpetrators" those who have allowed, helped and or contributed to the execution of these crimes!

Especially the misguided stupid bloody PC do gooders!
