    Carb Jet Kit Installation Guide

    Hey guys,

anyone know of a detailed installation guide on the net for rejetting a carb. Something that is easy to follow for a first timer when replacing needles, jets etc.

Feeling a bit daunted about putting a jet kit in my bike, never done it before.

    Cheers

    It's pretty straightforward really.
Get an exploded view of the carb in question if you are likely to forget how things go back together.
Have good unworn screwdrivers and ring spanners/nut drivers of the correct sizes.
Don't try to take the floatbowl screws (phillips) with a posidrive driver.
Work in a clean well lit area with a sheet on the work surface.
Clean the exterior of the carb before attempting to disassemble it.

    its very easy.

Clean outside of carb very well. (important)
Take carbs apart 1 at a time as not to mix up parts
Clean inside of carbs with carb cleaner and inspect all seals
    take out old jet
put in new one (dont tighten too much! they deform easy!)
    Reassemble.
    move on to next carb.

You will need to balance the carbs afterwards, it pays to get it done with good instruments (george from MD is great)
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot
