    Loncin 150 wiring

    So I had some wiring problems last week end at the track with my Loncin 150 and was wondering if you could please help me?

    The guy that put the bike together has used lots of bits of wire which worked for a while, but now they've all started to pull apart, and at this point, I can't figure out how they go back together. Do you think you could help?

    I'll list the wires I have from the engine and coil and then the ones from the racing cdi unit. The plastic plugs that clipped together the cdi unit to the engine wires was smashed, so all I have is wires.

    So I have...

    Engine wires:

    * Blue with a white stripe
    * Green with a white stripe

    * Black with a red stripe
    * Yellow (I think it's been un-used)
    * Pink (I think it's been un-used)

    Coil

    * Green
    * Black

    And then out of the cdi unit

    * 2 Greens (I think 1 un-used)
    * Yellow
    * Black
    * Blue
    * Red

    I also have a kill switch.

    I hope you can help!! I came last in the last points round because of this dodgy wiring, and I never ever want that to happen again, as now I'm 3rd overall in B grade points instead of second, which is good, but I liked second better. I hope this can help you help me.

    Even if I can find out from someone where the cdi wires go, I can figure the rest out. This is the cdi unit...http://newmanz.co.nz/shop/index.php?...roducts_id=208

    Hey bro.

    I can take a look at mine when it arrives, as it should be unmolested. :-)

    I've scanned the original documents that come with the engine, they have a diagram for the stock CDI, which I guess may use the same plugs as your racing one.

    You know what me having the original documents means too :yes:

    Cool, I never got that document with my engine.
    The wiring diagram matches my hand drawn one, so that is good. I think Dave needs to wire in the stock CDI based on the wiring plan to rule the CDI out as the issue.

    I notice in the maintenance section it talks about an oil screen and oil filter. I never found an oil filter, where is this on the engine?
