    Ferked R1 Forks?

I just picked up a set of dirt cheap 1999 R1 forks + triples which I'm going to fit to my TRX. Unfortunately the preload adjuster on one of the forks has been ground down a bit... does anyone have a bent R1 fork that they wouldn't mind selling cheap. Replacement cartridges are a bit out of my budget at the moment.

Also after some 50mm clipons and an 98-01 front fender.

Yeh, but not likely to find someone wanting to part out a complete fork, hence why I asked for a damaged one with a good cap.

Thx, will look when i get home :-)

Yeh... $25USD second hand is pretty good (as per link above). Some wreckers in NZ are living in lala land. I had a wrecker selling a complete R1 front end for $1500 with wheel and discs, brakes, triples, clipons etc. I asked for a price for just the forks triple and clipons minus switches and he said $1200... I waited 2 weeks and got a set from a private seller for $250. I can't see the wrecker selling his anytime soon.

Yup, that is a sad state of affairs with the price of Suzuki parts.

The bikes are cheap, but they make up for it with parts.

I really support NZ business, and not buying off the net, but I see how hard it is to do that sometimes.
