There was a supercharged V-Max in Dunedin a couple of years back, too short in the wheelbase to keep the front end on the ground when winding open the throttle...

There's a guy on the Mrkn VFR forums who's produced a supercharger kit for the 1998-2001 VFR800, and is currently developing one for the 2002-2010 VFR800. In a mild state of tune, it's over 160hp. The kit is designed so it's not obvious it has a blower, and it can be installed by anyone with reasonable mechanical skills. Everything is included in the kit, which is US$5k, and he's designed it to the bike is still reliable (and rideable!). It'll wheelie in every gear if you want it to.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....
