Putting a VTR250 fuel tank back on

    i need some help....

So i decided to take off my fuel tank the other day to check something out. I removed the fuel hose (and the smaller one). But buggered if I can get them back on!!!!!!!!!!! i need smaller hands or something....

I can get the stupid end of the hose back on the fitting but buggered if I can push it hard enough to get it back on far enough (and then I have to get the little hose clamp over it too)

I'm feeling the anger well up inside so i'm having a time out

Can anyone give me some sage advice on an easier way to do this? Maybe a current / ex vtr250 owner with more mechanical nouse than me (which woudl be just about anyone)

    Thanks

    Frustrated VTR250 owner.

i guess the answer to my question is try harder. I went back after my "timeout" and i've managed to put the tubes back on. Phew, i'll be able to sleep now!

Next time I'll just take it to the mechanic

Yup, we've all learnt that one, you're on your way to learning how to maintain your bike.
