Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

John, stop back peddling. You've said it, live with it. If that's your fetish and things like flick yer switch, then each to their own, you go for it! Glad you think the bike is better than that tho

Badcat, I was typing quick, and not properly looking, cos someone was talking to me at the same time, so my brain capacity was a little impaired at the time. I'll be more observant next time.

MSTRS, I thought anything that someone says, is in speech marks, where as something referred to should be in singular quotes.. how I was tought anyhoo

But I did not say that if it was actually funny I wouldn't have bothered - in any case you would have heard it before and know what I meant, I had to google what 'blob' meant I had no fucken idea what you were on about thats why I took acception to it.

    Here is the 05 specs.
    Model Code ZX1000-C2

Engine Type 4-Stroke, liquid-cooled, 4-cyl Front Wheel Travel 120 mm
Displacement 998 cc Rear Wheel Travel 125 mm
    Bore & Stroke 76.0 x 55.0 mm Front Tyre Size 120/70ZR17M/C
Compression Ratio 12.7:1 Rear Tyre Size 190/50ZR17M/C
    Induction N/A Brakes:Front/Rear Dual Disc/Disc (Petal Type)
    Fuel System Fuel injection: Ø 43 mm x 4 (Mikuni) LxWxH 2,045 x 705 x 1,115 mm
Ignition Digital Ignition Wheel Base 1,385 mm
Starting System Electric Fuel Tank Capacity 17 litres
Transmission 6-Speed Seat Height 825 mm
Frame Type Backbone/Twin-tube, aluminium Dry Weight 170 kg
    Rake/Trail 24° / 102 mm Max Power 184.0 PS @ 11,700 rpm
Suspension Front 43 mm inverted fork with top-out springs Max Torque 115 N-m @ 9,500 rpm
Suspension Rear top-out spring Colours Lime Green/ Metallic Raw Titanium, Pearl Magma Red

I was wondering how is the delivery, I hear that its completely nuts and just wants to wheelie any time any where? any light on that? and is the dash easier to gawk at compared to the ZX6r?

    edit: he saw it

I think either is correct. Except when used in the situation where somebody is telling what someone else said, such as - 'I heard him say "When do you use single or double speech marks?" '

About time , on ya mate
The delivery is absolutely completely nuts, I havent wound it on full yet, prolly wont ,but I can tell yes it is very powerful and would not have any problem lifting up a wheel.
The Dash is completely readable unlike the ZXR636 which is hidden behind the bubble
i like them both but would prolly buy the 636 if I had to make a choice

Would that point just be the fact that the ZX10R would be a hopeless commuter?
Hows the front end, I also heard that they are keen to dip real bad under brakes, as the front springs arent very good??
And does it have a nice induction howl or have the EU taken it away from us? (god I love that sound)..

yes yes 101 questions, sue me.

    lamo..
look, the ZX10 fukin rocks. What more is there to say?
I was riding fairly hard out over some crest and wasn't hooning full whack, cos I'm not too confident on the front rising up from a crest, but Scooterboynz whized past me on his blue ZX10 and I glanced to the side to see the front wheel calmly rise, stay up then slowly and gracefully land as he zoomed off.. to which I then dropped a gear and throttled it...
nice bikes. I like my mini 10 just as much tho

Look at the power to weight on the 10 too.. pretty nuts

Sounds like a perfect excuse to need a extended test drive so I can just drool over it , make sure that you get some pictures if you can and fill us in on how it was on your extended (i hope) trip back to the shop
