    How long could you go?

How long could you go without TV & Internet and how much does it rule your life?.
My partner and I had our cables ripped out of our Power Pole on the 7th May 8.30am thanks to our Wheelie Bin company ripping them out while emptying our bin.
We had to wait for our Internet and TV provider to come around and fix it which they couldn't do until the 18th May.
12 days without Internet and TV sure felt longer than that and it sure does make you and your partner talk more to each other.
Our Internet & TV provider said we would get a discount on our next Bill and our Wheelie Bin company is going to deduct $50.00 off our next Statement.
What I hated the most with not having TV was missing out on watching the Superbikes Live on Sky Sport.

It would be worse losing internet at work for me than losing it at home...how the hell would I do any banking?

Very frustrating at home when no internet, much worse at work. Mind you, can go weeks in the summer without TV/radio/computer and not miss it a bit.

Lost net access for 6 weeks once. Fortunately I was quite busy at work so basically came home to sleep. Family were not well pleased, though.

yeah ill miss sbk and motogp, but to be fair i only just got sky sports and started watching it.
Ive told the missus that wen our tv blows up, we aint replacing it. prolly get computers for everyone.
its better just to d/l tv shows anyway, we are now d/ling the last episode of the latest survivor. we are months behind a lot of american tv shows, excedpt for the brilliant american idol. God please cancel that show....
