You sure have to be quick to get from side to side around Mt Wellington. I used to let go, throw myself across and grab the handles on the way to the right. Would only miss them if we had an unexpected slide. One weekend we ran the track backwards and man it was hard to hold on under brakes at the end of the straight. Had a knee slider velcro'd to the arse of my leathers as I dragged my arse around the corners (gotta make these things as wide as possible). Won the auckland champs in 1993. Never had much luck at Ohakea despite being one of the fastest sidecars there. Fast but fragile. Had spare engines and all but still no NZGP win

Yeah we could only manage to get back to 4th by the flag and we were a long way back by the time we'd found the problem. You were the Jason that had the blue RS framed TF?

TonyB might have some TKRJ ones still? TS vs TF piston discussed here. Ebay has plenty

Cheers Squiggles, all those links were most helpful. I had ask a few people before hand about TS and TF pistons being the same and the consensus was they were, so TS it is

Just wondering you planning on getting up to the track next month?

The TF100 takes RG400 pistons. I wonder if the 125 would take a RG500 piston. They are better.

http://motorcycleforums.yuku.com/top...25-piston.html - a good discussion re the 125/RG500 piston sizes for you to read.
(this is the old bag who's told Henk he's not allowed a sidecar - you are so in trouble with me hehehehe)

Henk... sidecar... sounds natural... and Henk after my example of people will pay good money for all your old junk should inspire you to get started.

Dutchee... the swinger ....hee makes sense after all we know Henk enjoys to swing...LOL

Last time you told me I enjoyed pulling, now it's swinging. Damn my life is more interesting than I suspected.
I'd love to build a chair, but Dutchee knows me well enough to be 100% confident that she doesn't want to be anywhere near a sidecar with me on it.
Main issue is we'd have nowhere to keep it and no way to drag the thing to the track.
If anyone else does build one and needs someone to hang off the side of it keep me in mind. I had a ball on Saturday.

I know your welding well enough to know no-one wants to be near it in case someone sneezes on the other side of the world and it all falls apart.
Now Arron will be on at you about balls, swinging and pulling hahaha (sorry, misspelt the name)
