    Coromandel ride Sun 5th june

    Coromandel Ride
    5th June

Some of the folks from up north are keen to see this Coromandel place so we are coming down to the big smoke to try it out. We will be doing the complete loop, so plan on being out most of the day.

This ride will be for anyone who's keen to come, all speeds(we wait at all the turnoffs etc)no probs with slower riders.
WARNING: I will make it clear right now that there are fast paced riders amoungst us and there could well be the odd wheelie or two, so if you have a problem with either it may be advisable not to come. Otherwise we welcome all others.

Meet at the Papakura Autobahn at 9.30am, ready to leave by 10 sharp.
Prolly go via Clevedon (passing through about 10.15)-> Kaiawa.

This will be weather dependent of course....I'm not real keen on the wet, I’ll keep this updated. fingers crossed.....
I've got a couple of whangerei-ites here so this is still a go.
    OK.Sunday 7am.We're ready,weather don't look too bad so it's all on.....no wimping out now.....

How long does it take to get there/back?
You are only coming through in waves. Your lips move but I can't hear what you're saying...

the only reason the will only be 1 or 2 wheelies is due to the fact that your wheelies last for kilometers.....

Im keen, and should be able to come...

    Really DEATH??

Since when did you learn how to ride fast?? And can you really wheelie???

I shall help stop your bikes from overheating by making you take lengthy stops as you wait for me to catch up

You should definetly come along. The Coro loop is one of the nicest rides I've been on. And despite what his name says - "Death" is one of the best guys to go riding with. The chap has helped me out heaps and I've learnt a ton of information from just talking to him.

Long weekend had planned on heading up to Whangarei. If that changes would be keen to join up as part of a Ham group.

Woops didn't realise that it was the long weekend. In which case I too will be heading up to Whangarei. Look out for a crazy cage driver in a late model Commodore haha
