Need some carbys to fit xs400

Gday KBer's. Im lookin for a set of carbs to fit a yamaha xs400. Ive been told that xs650/700 might fit but the guy wanted $150 per carb. I Do have an old set but they have been fired damaged. Could i still use them? not wanting to pay to much as ive just started my new job. But am willing to swap parts n beer. hahaha

    haha

I have come to the conclusion that my beast of choice is really a 1982 xs400r. So now parts are even harder to find!! haha and no yama parts dealer in nz has all the parts i am wanting. time to modify some shit me thinks.

Is that the odd ball twin cam model?

There was different XS 650 carbs too, Some had the diaphrams as part of the slide ans others were replacable. Who knows if they are still available and at what price
