    I met a nice cop...

Had a nasty nose to tail crash in the car on the motorway on Wednesday...... wrote my car off - smashed it up big time.
The cops came, and the one dealing with me was lovely - the first thing he said was "you must be gutted, this was a really nice car!" Between my bawling and sniffing and swear words, he was really kind and reassuring, I thought I would be in trouble for failing to stop, but he said he doubts there will be a fine.
He was really cool, even asked the towies which guy was coming as my neighbour is a towie, and he knew I wanted that guy to take me home.
Anyway, I know I had a big moan way back about cops, but I stand corrected, they are pretty cool when you are hurt and upset.

Yep, just like all other people, you get nice guys and bad guys, and yes the attitude reflects the situation. Just like the rest of us.

I agree! When I crashed on the 12th breaking my back, the Police were as gentle and kind as the Ambo's!

Its good to hear your getting better Ed.
Like a lot of people on here most only deal with the police when they get a ticket, call them every name under the sun then go crying to them when they have a little booboo.
Good on you kitty for have the grace to post this on here, there are not that many that would do the same.

I find this thread offensive after all the 'facts' I have had to deal with previously on KB.

Yup! When I got to hospital and was in RESUS, the lady officer even apologised for having to take a blood sample! I told her she didn't need to apologise and to go ahead, she was only doing what she had to do.
