As for the cophater biz. Without going to much into detail (do ask for details if you want), been victim of a theft 2X in 3 months, Police will not come investigate surroundings, I did some investigations my self and handed a report to central station(what more can they ask for). They did nothing. All the leads were there and even a rego number. Still nothing. Several people were hit i my area. Called them up to follow up, I was passed from detective to detective who didn't even know my case existed.

The night I called for them to come, person on the phone say they do not have enough staff...well that same night I phoned a colleague who happen to be on the nw mway told me there were 3 groups of revenue gathering speed traps. So what's up with that?

Dont get me wrong, I am against lunatics that speed excessively (and in fact seom of them are bikers who are friends of friends), but I think we pay the cops (taxes) to protect us. And I do not feel protected. I've moved house since then and it is all because the cops will not do anything.

You may ask if they can do anything about it..? well, if they concentrate on crime and not revenue gathering, this would not have happened.

this is my point of view. So there you go Motu. I can see someone saying, "it is the system you hate and not the cops.." - probably..but it is too long as a username.

I don't know what about the people here but I post on another forum site (NZ) and none of them comment on my username. It is after just a username. Our alter ego online. It m ay reflect our lives off line but we are online here.

So if there is a cop here that can help me put the thief (which I do hate Motu) behind bars, I welcome your help. I've been writing to the NAtional PArty, NZ First to Ron Marks, to TVNZ news, to the herald, even to the Rodney Hide of the Act party..

I've been bad repped and I've only been here a day. All that for a username? hahaha.. some ppl do need to grow up.

welcome along, sorry to hear about your bike getting done over, and glad you are getting your name changed, not that I really care what you want to call yourself, just it makes for topics un-bike related which I can't be bothered wading through ongoingly.
and despite what the venerable Motu says, kawasakis are mighty fine bikes in my opinion.
What bugs me is whoever targets bikes to steal parts off is presumably a biker themselves, how they can sleep at night is beyond me.
I really hate theives.

i dont know much about the police force mate but i think it should be government hater.

most of the police i know are just doing what they are told.
its like most jobs the poor guy that is just doing his job gets all the flack for somthing instead of the decision makers that make the calls.
all the cops i know are good people. im sure there are a few cocks in the force but its like all jobs.

exactly. how can they sleep..tsk tsk..
Anyway, thinking about exhaust...I'm interested in modding me bike..but most things today are for fuel injected engines..I shall do a search here on this site for more info..
