Oh, miles away. Apart from the valve seats needing a minor cleanup, new shims as well as all the fluids renewing, she's perfect.

Braided lines for the front, new needles/jets, aftermarket CDI, wheel rims come back from the powdercoaters next week and I've been fixing a few of the fairing cracks.

You wouldn't believe how desperately I want to go out for a ride

Ill be honest it was your bike on the coro loop and the trip to the rally that time that sold me on the VFR. Something about that exhaust note bouncing off all the buildings while everyone outside the clubs went WTF is that...

Lol, that's the same thing that got me too... Hearing it first fire up and the exhaust note bracketed by the cam-gear whine...

Bah, now I want to go for a ride even more. Goddamnit.

Thanks for that, I've got one of the Haynes manuals as well, damn useful. I've got the heads back on now and I'm just waiting for the shims to arrive so hopefully I'll be able to fire her back up this weekend.

Aside from the fact that he says he loves the v-twin sound, and it looks like it has some shite tyres on it, I can't really say anything besides DO IT FAGGOT.

Fairing looks pretty rough, there are a couple of cracks that I can spot apart from the main break, but then again that's the kind of thing that can get you an awesome deal if you can look past it and get one with good mechanics...

Also Vtwin... Well I guess technically it's a Vtwin sound, it just sounds like a Vtwin would sound at 28000rpm :P
