    Replacing exhaust

I had an off last weekend and my exhaust pipe suffered most of the damage and I've got another one off trademe.

Is it a simple remove & replace job or should I visit a mechanic?

I don't know the VL250 zorsts, but usually it's pretty easy. The only "gotchas" are if you have to take the header pipe off and the exhaust studs/nuts won't budge and a stud snaps off, or the exhaust flange gaskets fall apart, or if you're just replacing the muffler and the muffler's a bit hard to separate from the header.
Just take your time, and if anything's reluctant, stop, and use some lube.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

This advice is useful in other situations as well.
